Adding offense to my defense...Murphy last week, Boyle this week. Also have my pending claim of Fraser to make up for some lost periphs.

I'm actually so lost, someone fill me in please
Re: SJS/DET - Boyle for Tyutin
I don't understand why Detroit in its situation would bring in a 38yrs old at the expens of a much younger asset.

Makes sense to me. He picked up periph heavy Fraser off of waivers; then he trades Periph heavy Tyutin to me to help his offense.
Tyutin will probably end up on my IR shortly

I give up age and periphs...Boyle has been productive with the Rangers and they're playing well as a team right now.

this could make sense if he was in a tight battle to make the playoffs.LeanMachine wroteCOLONMakes sense to me. He picked up periph heavy Fraser off of waivers; then he trades Periph heavy Tyutin to me to help his offense.

speaking of playoffs, Boyle is the type of player teams covet at the trade deadline. I imagine if Shoalzie wants to flip him then, he could.

Ya, not sure I get this one. Think definitely could've targeted a younger D-man with offensive upside than an older (but good) Boyle. Maybe boyle will be more attractive to teams near trade deadline than tyutin? Get the return then?

Tyutin sucks. Good deal fellas
Re: SJS/DET - Boyle for Tyutin
Meh - Boyle is a far better player, fun to have, and it's entirely possible he has more games in him
Then junking ass tyutin
