CGY system is missing pieces that could be the future starter too. Seems fair, definitely a good move by Shiv to add Bishop since he is contending and adding another 1st for Paul makes it worth losing Bishop. Question is will Paul keep his 1sts for the first time ever?

Bishop got paid but I wonder if that turns into a Howard-Mrazek situation in Tampa eventually. The 'goalie of the future' steps up to outplay the incumbent to take over the job earlier than planned. I don't see it happening this year though. You don't see a guy get a healthy contract extension and help take his team to the Finals only to lose his job the next year.
