I admit to being someone who didn't think the trade was, "that bad" when it was made, as I was fairly sure Kassian would be a good NHLer. He still shows hints, but man he is just not consistently pissed off, and needs to play with intent to be useful.

Cody wanted to be traded. It was pretty obvious when he was questioned about it. I hate the trade but you never get fair value when a player, especially an unproven one. I have always hated Kassian and I don't know a Canuck fan that still thinks gillis deserves his job, cough* Luongo cough* but that is one trade I don't blame him for. Not a bit.

Mike gillis sucks at getting dressed in the morning.
