I'd prefer a close up face/half torso style banner as well, much like Lee's Datsyuk one. That way it's going to be easier with the jersey substitution and don't have to make it look like Miller is wearing Ward's goalie gears.
Hell, I'm okay with a pic of him without his mask on.
