Re: Philly / LA: Hemmer Broad Street bound
its the same as other deals where we allow a team to keep a player until "roster lock"
basically after the next roster lock we will process this deal.

Re: Philly / LA: Hemmer Broad Street bound
It's not a loan. Philadelphia keeps Niskanen until the next roster lock, then gets moved to LA. LA keeps him after that.kyuss wroteCOLONhow's that different from a loan?Kezia wroteCOLON

He needs Niskanen to meet the GP requirements, thus not processed until the roster lock.

Re: Philly / LA: Hemmer Broad Street bound
yeah, but i thought Niskanen was going to stay for more than one roster lock, unlike other previous occurrences; that basically would have meant for LA acquiring Niskanen, giving him back to philly on loan, just to get him back at season's end.Snipeshow wroteCOLONIt's not a loan. Why are you making a big deal out of this? Both teams are out of the playoffs, I fail to see how anyone can label this a "loan." It's clearly meant to ensure Philly meets the gp limit, I'm sure these two could easily complete this deal in two weeks if absolutely necessary, this just ensures the deal on paper.kyuss wroteCOLONyeah, but i thought Niskanen was going to stay for more than one roster lock, unlike other previous occurrences; that basically would have meant for LA acquiring Niskanen, giving him back to philly on loan, just to get him back at season's end.

i don't think i'm making it a big deal, i merely asked a question..MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONWhy are you making a big deal out of this? just trying to get what is allowed and what is not; anyway, what i'm getting is that like in the past they're allowed to complete it after next roster lock.

i've never understood why some people try to make life harder than it is!
I mean, hell, if Kareem can see how easy this is, than fuck, it must be!
