For sure. It's as risky as investing in Bitcoin in September 2017. The payoff is enormous if Saros turns into the starter they're betting on.I'll agree with you on most of that - if you agree that it's still a ballsy move moving a top 10 pick for talented, albeit unproven back-up goalie.

On Ryan Suters ankle injury;
https://theathletic.com/428304/2018/07/ ... mp-madison/
"The problem was the broken talus, which wasn’t discovered until Monday. A break there and some don’t ever regain mobility in their ankle, the doctors told Suter. And, they added, there was no sure way to do surgery. Only a handful of doctors in the country work on that area, and there’s no definite way to fix it. You can insert screws into every part of the break, the most common solution, he was told, but that can wear down the tissue and increase the risk of ending your career. Or you can only insert three screws, leaving as much tissue as possible for a recovery, he was told, but there’s no certainty that it’ll heal quickly...
A few weeks after the surgery, he returned to Green Bay for a follow-up session and had X-rays taken, the first chance to really see how the surgery had gone. Anderson looked at the results wide-eyed. “It’s a miracle,” he said to Suter.
Suter looked on confused.
“So then he says again, ‘It’s a miracle what it looks like now,’” Suter said.
He asked what the doctor meant by that.
“And he goes, ‘Ryan, this was the worst ankle injury I’d ever seen.’ But he hadn’t told me that before,” Suter said. “And he goes, ‘It’s a miracle that it looks like this right now.’ That’s when it really hit me how bad it was.”
Hopefully he can make a full recovery, but this sounds dicey.

No chance. I'd be ok 1 for 1 for Derozan but they are gonna end up sending some good young players... if OG or Siakim is sent too, it's a big loss of a deal. The BBKL Insider wroteCOLONThe Raps about to trade for Leonard

That's a bad deal, if true.

Spurs have agree to trade Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green to Toronto for DeMar DeRozan, Jakob Poeltl and a protected 2019 first-round pick.

You aren't winning without a Kawhi caliber player. Have to make a run for it now that Lebron is gone. The BBKL Insider wroteCOLONRetarded, but better than OGMalette18 wroteCOLONSpurs have agree to trade Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green to Toronto for DeMar DeRozan, Jakob Poeltl and a protected 2019 first-round pick.

Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
I think it's a great deal, first is protected 1-20 too so if we aren't a top 10 team it's 2 2nds which are pretty useless in the NBA. Really like Poetl but he's just a solid depth piece.
GS is still better, but I'd take an NBA finals appearance.

Of course the West has some teams better than TOR but the East is wide open. Get into the finals and you give yourself a chance to win 4 games. The BBKL Insider wroteCOLONGSW say HelloMalette18 wroteCOLONYou aren't winning without a Kawhi caliber player. I really doubt it. But Toronto has only really got these guys in the past by trading for them and showing them it's a good place to play. The BBKL Insider wroteCOLONI hope we can sign him

Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
I don’t mind the move at all. Demand wasn’t gonna get it done. Give it a shot and try win him over
Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
They aren't winning now either. They probably still aren't the best team in the East and even if they get through the East Golden State is waiting on the other side. This is their last shot at getting to the finals though, so I get the logic behind it. Now just pray that he will actually play haha.Malette18 wroteCOLONYou aren't winning without a Kawhi caliber player.
