Again, welcome to the league Kim!

There isn't a waiting period on trades for a new GM?

i think the 2 week period was lifted because of his cap and goaltending situation.

http://www.bbklhockey.com/viewtopic.php ... 241#p28001

i guess an announcement through a dedicated thread would have helped most of those GMs who are not part of the Administration and CC group.

I'm not even sure why TBH, I would assume it is a combination of the cap, and goaltending, plus Dolomite was technically apart of this league for more than 2 weeks.

I like the buddy system more than the 2-week probation program. Message to CC: Make it a new rule. It will make the transition into the league far easier.

I hope the CC and the admin team don't have that short of a memory. The two week rule is there because we had so many GMs get absolutely raped in their first 2 weeks. Look at the bottom feeders of the league and you'll see new owners destroyed before they got accustomed. Yes we've had a few GMs who grabbed the reins right away, but exceptions don't make the rule. I'd much rather play it safe than sorry, unless you guys would like to pick the scraps off a few more teams I wouldn't suggest change. I'm all for the exception when cap issues are involved, but thats about it.
