HEHN rihk ZEH tuhr buhrg

Post by armandtanzarian »

I received an interesting offer. Never considered moving him, but this was a good one. Throw me an offer if you have any interest. I am curious to see what else is out there. His value is obvious. I have lots of roster space but cap has to be neutral. PM if you can throw a wowser out there...

Why would you overpay like that? Aren't you trying to rebuild?

I feel that it's a price that I may have to pay.

If it was Wendel or Dougie, might have a deal on your hands.

I'll do one better, how about an Andy Brickley autographed T-shirt from 1989?

Will a video of Colton Orr making Lucic turtle suffice?

Oh Lucic is a big pussy now that he is a "top line" player finding his offensive touch. He has pulled way too many patented "Joe Thornton peel offs" for my liking this season. I would take one of Engelland knocking Orr out though, that was great!

There is a reason true power forwards are rare, if not non existant, coaches don't want to risk them hurting themselves in an unneccasarry fight. The same thing is happening with Stewart, fights have gone down big time, and when he finally dropped em, he broke his hand.

ya man, that's what scares me about Ryan Clowe.. he just likes to fight and I'm worried he'll bust his hand up.

Absolutely! Stewart's just too important to Colorado to be fighting.. leave that to the cement heads. I definitely like when Clowe gets me 5 minutes though lol

Good point. It just sucks that a young player made his mark and created a certain style of play in order to break into the league and once he "made it", seemed to lose touch with the skills that got him where he is. I mean, i understand the fighting side, but when the token move of a guy is his thunderous game changing hits and he is no longer pursuing that with all available chances, it gets frustrating. His offensive chances are produced alot from opposite defenders looking over there shoulders while he is coming. He is not pursuing those opportunities much this season, let alone getting into a fight. It is amazing how much a big hit or a fight can lift a team. I know he does have nice hands but they aren't so nice that he can stop using his other skills.

Yep I hear ya, and the exact same thing is happening with Stewart, but even hitting can limit offensive opportunities. It takes you out of position alot of times, and requires alot of energy to do, most coaches would prefer their big man play smart and use their size to create space for their linemates, and/or focus more on the dynamic aspects of theif offensive game. This has been the case for Stewart anyways, I can't speak to Lucic.

No, not at all. It is a perfectly normal feeling to want to see a Montreal Canadien tomb-Stoned by just about anyone. You are normal!

Hell I even want to see it happen to Gomez. Maybe itll knock some sense into him and make him earn that ridiculous contract he has.
