Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
Personally i dont see this working out with dallas
Lehtonen and niemi had botb respectable careers and numbers in their old clubs in their 20s too before signing for similar amount
Except bishop came in even later. I dont rly consider him much an upgrade for em

I would never have guessed you'd be defending Niemi/Lehtonen*kimmer wroteCOLONPersonally i dont see this working out with dallas

Tbf Paul is correct. Dallas just gave a 30 year old goalie who just had the worst sv % season of his career by a good amount a 6 year 30 million deal. This could be the same thing as niemi all over again if bishops stats don't recover.kimmer wroteCOLONWell im serious lol

Lol, Dallas is retarded. This is a bad contract for a mediocre goaltender. However, it will look good in the short-term because Hitchcock makes any goalie look like a stud. Look at what he did for Steve Mason and Pascal Leclaire in Columbus. Firing Ruff was a big improvement to their goaltending, followed by hiring Hitchcock.

yea bad year, can't deny that!

Yep, that's him. His parents are British, he lived in Australia when he was a kid and moved to Czech to play hockey because you can't really get good enough here to get drafted. Australians don't care though, we'll claim any sports person who had a layover here as Australianfoofnik wroteCOLONNathan Walker?
Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
Wonder how soon Dallas is going to regret the Bishop contract, might be as early as this year

Really no excuse for not adding pieces you drafted.
How does that make sense? He wasn't included on his roster submission.
I clearly selected the player in early October 2016. This tendency to want to take from a GM is silly and losers like you need to quit ruining the culture of a league. There was no offence that warrants taking an asset like Shipachyov from a GM. I would wager the dude did not exist on fantrax when I made the pick, and I did fail to translate him onto the new SS. It's not like he's a missing piece, clearly

I failed to recognize that I didn't translate the dudes name down. I was not over assets, contracts, cap, or any league regulations. So on a technicality you are trying to take an asset. I am not a new GM who comes in a fails to follow rules, I have consistently and over time shown my commitment and respect for the league. Do not believe this suggested punishment is at any way warranted, fair or just. It would be among the harshest decisions in the leagues history.

Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
First of all, I'm confident saying he was in fact ton Fantrax. And while I may be new here it certainly seems like based on the rules Shipachyov is not your property. Basically you want everyone to overlook that for you, and then what's the point of rules if we toss them out as soon as a prominent member fails to follow them?Nick wroteCOLONLee wroteCOLONHandsome&FairMike wroteCOLONI feel like nick has until waiver draft to add him on fantrax.
