I'm in no rush, if there are others ahead of me then so be it. I just want to be considered, and if the league is against it I am ok with that too.

His 11,000 posts is impressive. And it's not like we are giving a guy who quit and came back a good...

NJD are pretty weak.

One of the best decisions the CC could make to improve the league is to remove devon2004 and re-add Kareem aka MSP4LYFE.

Hey Kareem. I'm the guy who took over your team. Now it's wicked.

what follows is from Kareem's (last) resignation post http://bbkl.ca/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=11258#p184468
MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONIt is with great sadness and regret that I must inform you of my decision to resign as General Manager of the Vancouver Canucks, effective immediately. I respect this league, and value it's members, and it is for that reason that I am electing to resign.

I re-entered this league with the intention of picking up where I left off, however, I have been unable to regain the same interest level that made me a valuable, albeit controversial member of BBKL. My decision goes beyond commitments to work and extracurricular activities, the passion that I once had for this league is gone, and I can't seem to regain it. I'm sure this must seem like a rash decision, but I assure you that that this decision was not made in haste, I have spent the better part of the past year considering resignation, but held off for fear of doing something I may regret. The truth is that I was more afraid to lose my position in BBKL than I was excited to be apart of it. It's really telling when simply logging onto BBKL feels like a chore rather than a fun past-time, and that is how it's felt for a while now. It never used to be this way, which is why my activity and productivity has fallen off a cliff. This league can do better, and it deserves better.

I understand that by resigning for the umpteenth time that I will never be granted entry back into this league, and I have taken that into strong consideration. If at all possible, I would like to remain an active member of this forum, but understand if that is not possible.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, and for respecting my wishes, and best of luck moving forward. I'd also like to thank Nick personally for vouching for me this entire time, it couldn't have been easy given my non-activity. I'm sorry I couldn't have rewarded your confidence, just know that I tried too renew my passion for BBKL, I really, really tried... If any of you have any further questions, I am happy to answer them.
this is not to point out that he didn't expect the league would let him back another time, rather to wonder what is different this time around with reference to the bolded part.

That's something we would like to hear about from him

Even if Kareem only returns for a year or 2 he's probably still better than anyone else we'd bring on. We seem to be missing on a lot of new guys as of late.

I'm not in favour of bringing (back or not) anyone in if our expectation is he'll leave after 1 season or 2.

Some sort of contract needs to be signed though that he can't leave for 3 years

Does it include a NMC and a transfer fine if he decides to go back to europe?

I want Kareem back.. I don't think there are much GM which can stay for 4 to 5 years.. it's very rare now.. if Kareem can be committed for more than 2 years, I am happy to have him back as he is exactly the type of GM the league needs.. even he's less asshole than he was before..

I miss Kareem. We always had fun. The fights between him and Paul would be awesome. Worth price of admission.

If past GMs want to come back after some time has past...I think we'd be silly not to consider them. They don't need learn the ropes, just jump in and get involved.
