I golfed Bear Mountain - mountain course - yesterday, that's when Len Barrie squandered a bunch of NHLers' investements/monies/etc. Sad story although the golf course is simply amazing. Jamie & Jordie Benn were out on the course as well. PGA tour coming in September. FYI I started with a 10 and finished with a run of five straight pars. Such an annoying sport.

Some reporter said the other day that the Oilers were in talks for a RHD who played 22-23 minutes a night and wasn't rumoured to be heading there. Thought of Larsson as a possibility there for maybe RNH or Draisaitl. Surprised they would move Hall though.

As for hall, yah he holds more value likely, but teams know they need D so they aren't going to give them fair value

It's really not. The value still sucks though IMO and I don't trust Lucic long-term. Their strength was at C or RW (Draisaitl can play both so he could fill in for a player gone in the top 6).

I agree the value was off, but we see shit like this happen all the time in our league.

Just look at the overpayments you see for centres or defense here, especially when the acquiring team is filling s position of need.

I actually don't mind the deal, yeah its true they might have gotten more but Hall has also had some injury issues and as others have mentioned they are trading from a position of strength.

Never sure whats going on with Yakupov either, if he ends up staying now they have more of an opening for him in the top 6 and can push Pouliot down to become a good 3rd liner.
