Henrik Lundqvist
I wanted to play along too. Would need an NHL goaltender as part of the return. Starter or backup doesn't matter. Other than that open to different types of offers.
Re: Henrik Lundqvist
I like this idea. Moving towards talbot, and cashing in on Lundy. Smart.

I suppose scrivens + would make sense cuz it gives u the edm duo.

So what's the offer?Lee wroteCOLONTokarski +
Re: Henrik Lundqvist
Depends on the offer. Don't really care so much about who as much as I care about the rest of the return. Hank is still among a select few of elite goaltenders. I don't need to move him, but more than willing if the offer is right.Matthew wroteCOLONI suppose scrivens + would make sense cuz it gives u the edm duo.
Re: Henrik Lundqvist
Not making an offer. I likely don't have enough assets. Just saying it would make sense.

Where do you think you are getting the 3 best pieces in a 3-3? No thanks.Robin Hood wroteCOLONBen Bishop + Justin Williams + Max Talbot

That would be a good offer, don't think there's a big market for Lundqvist.lightupdadarkness wroteCOLONDougie

Re: Henrik Lundqvist
Don't see how this is a bad offer. Bishop is much cheaper and much younger than Lundqvist. Oh welLCasperX22 wroteCOLONWhere do you think you are getting the 3 best pieces in a 3-3? No thanks.Robin Hood wroteCOLONBen Bishop + Justin Williams + Max Talbot

And not in Lundqvist's class. Not too worried about the cap. And I bet you wouldn't think getting the 3 best pieces in the deal would be a bad offerRobin Hood wroteCOLONDon't see how this is a bad offer. Bishop is much cheaper and much younger than Lundqvist. Considering Lundqvist could win 25% of the categories by himself a lot of weeks that makes senseBruyns wroteCOLONThat would be a good offer, don't think there's a big market for Lundqvist.lightupdadarkness wroteCOLONDougie
Re: Henrik Lundqvist
If backup goalies have been getting 2 1sts + prospect or even 1 1st + prospect, one would assume star starters would demand more than Doug hamilton, when there isnt another goalie coming back.

Re: Henrik Lundqvist
He could also lose 25% by himself. This isn't the NHL it's fantasy and 8.5 is a lot to pay someone. He wasn't top 10 in wins or SV % and was 8th in GAA. This means he is far from a sure thing to win goalie stats every week and GMs have to weigh if all that extra cap space is worth what amounts to a small edge in goaltending on a weekly basis.CasperX22 wroteCOLONConsidering Lundqvist could win 25% of the categories by himself a lot of weeks that makes senseBruyns wroteCOLONThat would be a good offer, don't think there's a big market for Lundqvist.lightupdadarkness wroteCOLONDougie
I didn't mean the market is small because he isn't good though. The comment was because there are only a limited number of GMs looking for a goalie.
Re: Henrik Lundqvist
What backup went for prices like that? Only ones that go for that have starter potential. Steve Mason for example had superior numbers across the board at a far lower cost but I don't think people would call him a star.Matthew wroteCOLONIf backup goalies have been getting 2 1sts + prospect or even 1 1st + prospect, one would assume star starters would demand more than Doug hamilton, when there isnt another goalie coming back.
There's a reason why Casper is shopping Lundqvist rather than Talbot since I think he is smart enough to know he is paid too much in this league.
Re: Henrik Lundqvist
Of course he wasn't top 10 in wins he was hurt and Talbot carried them lol! Lundy is not losing 25% categories by himself...just...just...stop lol! If you are trying to contend you aren't winning without solid goaltending and this is an elite goaltender being offered up.Bruyns wroteCOLONHe could also lose 25% by himself.
