Trotz is one of the best coaches in the NHL. Look at the Nashville teams he's coached that continuously made the playoffs.

I'd take him in a heartbeat. He'd teach this team to play defensively and if a guy like Stevie Sullivan can produce at a PPG clip with Trotz, it surely should not effect the offensive output of Kessel and JvR.
