I would argue that Bozak is amazing in real life and serves the exact function he is meant to serve. Obviously not close to a Backes but he is excellent at what he does.

Bozak does alot of things well, but nothing great.

Agreed. He's the definition of a jack of all trades kind of piece. And he fits in well/has a place on our roster. Only thing he does extremely well is FO but that hasn't been up to his historical numbers this year.

I like the deal for Shook. Raymond won't be keeping up the pace or the role on team. Does have a great contract, and will be a good BBKLer.

Dislike the deal for Chuck - Burns is just a better hockey player. http://bbkl.hockey.cbssports.com/player ... and%20BBKL? more hits and shtoi for troy sure... but that scoring is going to be a big gap by years end - ditto on SOG.

I think Raymond is going to put up 40-50 points playing with Bolland and Kulemin all year long. I'm okay with paying Nino for that. I'm always going for the win anyways.

I agree with that assessment Shiv, but right now he's seeing toi with lots of top 6 forwards, some power play (if my memory serves me correct, in JvR's spot) - and PK1 when he'll be PK2 (w/Bolland) once Kules is back. 40-50pts, solid SOG, good SHTOI, some BS. A very nice player for 900k.


And I appreciate that this allowed you to turn Brouwer into Burns. You added a lot of scoring in this deal.
