You say things like this without 1) understanding a team's position 2) looking at the stats. If you're trolling, I can respect that.

But there is no logical argument you can make/statistical evidence you can produce to back up your thoughts here.

Also - just because an offer is close does not mean it should be accepted. Shep's offer is what I consider "a solid offer that you almost accept solely because it looks like such a fair offer but in reality it is giving up $2 for $1.99"

What happens a lot of the time though Shiv is that teams are just "kicking the tires" with regards to certain players.

I am guilty of throwing out some pretty meh offers sometimes, but when I really am targeting a player, I do make some legit offers I like to think. It just comes down to how badly a team reaaaalllly wants someone.

Now with regards to the offer, it's one of the more legit public ones i've seen in recent times.
