grabo is not near the same class as O'reilly and Adelkader isn't close to the class of grabo. Seems to me like a vintage two for one imo. Seems pretty fair to me.

So we value cap hits more this year than most.

a 1.8M top 6 winger with unreal hits (loved by his coach)
a 3M possible #2 centre with something to prove (previously aweosme scorer)

for a 5M, LEGIT #2 who could become more, but doesn't quiet have epic bbkl # yet.


If I were Ennzie, now that Grabo has signed so cheap, I'd trade him 1:1 for a better player who has more cap. If that deal isn't with Shiv, that doesn't hurt anyone.

Now he's signed, no one had any interest before he signed cheap. Especially at the timing when Russians were going to the KHL (Kovy, Burmi). He actually signed in a great place for him as well. Likely will see a bunch of PP time, and he's wicked on the rush, which is very much their style of game.


But even with that said, I don't believe it's a bad value offer from Shiv, I just believe there are better deals out there. Someone can save serious cap and Ennzie can gain player value, w/o having to lose a piece that suits his team, and he's posted several times for GMs to stop posting Able as a throw in.
