Benn to wing is likely. ROR to wing is not going to last. He's too good of a C. Stastny is gone soon.Chuck Norris wroteCOLONBenn and ROR are slated to move to the wings next year. ROR has apprently lost his C spot to Mackinnon.
Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
Non of the Avs's Centers could win a draw last year, whoever does will lock into the #1 C spot. Any speculation before on-ice product is just that.
If MacKinnon is winning draws and making an impact, I do not think it would be a surprise to see him with a ton of ice-time, but that's the same for all 4 of their competing centers.

Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
I personally see Duchene moved to W before Staz or ROR or MacKinnon.
Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours

More on RoR moving to wing, from CBS;
News: Coach Patrick Roy said that Ryan O'Reilly will move from center to left wing, the Denver Post reports. "I'm excited about it," O'Reilly said. " I'm looking at it as a good new challenge for me. I mean, I'll be playing with two great players (Matt Duchene at center and P.A. Parenteau at right wing). I've played on the wing before, with Canada in the World Championships so I'm not totally unfamiliar with it."
Analysis: Ryan O'Reilly's skill set should translate well at left wing, although he may have fewer easy scoring opportunities. It doesn't sound like he's too worried about the change, and the Avalanche can always abort if the plan doesn't work out.

People saying one thing and doing one thing are two separate things. Wager a 2nd on ROR gets 500+ FOW with a GP minimum of 75 games?Lee wroteCOLONPeople with Stanley Cup rings disagree with you.SuperMario wroteCOLONOnly logical part about the post.Lee wroteCOLONand the Avalanche can always abort if the plan doesn't work out.
