it's like when there's a fire and everyone assumes someone else called 911 and the building burns down

I called 911 once when a bunch of drunk guys were throwing beer bottles at my car, the 911 responded told me they only responded to emergencies. So I loaded up my paintball gun with frozen paintballs and shot the fuckers.

Same. When I get tired of this league, it will be my last keeper league.

Yep. One league is the way to go. I always stop paying attention to any Yahoo leagues I join by mid-season.

how do you guys think bbkl will eventually die?

i have a hard time seeing how it will? unless we are all taking a bus somewhere together one day and it crashes. people inevitably lose interest, but its so gradual and they are replaced easily.

I'm of the same mindset as Anton. Talking and planning about a demise is about 100x more likely to make it happen. Cult suicide style.

We have an epic league. I'm not going anywhere - and I think anyone who leaves quickly realizes that. Sure time and focuses on the league/team goes up and down - but knowing that when you're busy, lots of your prospects are just developing :-) makes it all the better.

This is a league where you don't need a single year mindset. Last year was my first run at a championship (LOL) the build up is just as much a part of it.

just to clarify, i was talking very literally.

like when bbkl inevitably dies (whenever the fuck that happens) how will it actually go down?

the core seems too strong and committed for it to just fall apart one day.

Mike will get pissed off and shut down the boards and cbs ... if I've learned anything from the movies, never piss off the Gods.

Perhaps a new approach to your block is needed if you'd like some actual movement...pretty quiet off-season for the sens :P

Not on the trade front. Several teams with complete or at least very large over-hauls.
