I'll be Jelly if they land Bogo.

WTF is going on in PEG? I know their coach is awful, but if they lose two of their recent top 10 picks, gotta think their GM is fired.

He trades picks, which is ironic because he's an excellent scout.

Chevy seems to draft okay, but run a terrible room and allow a coach to ruin players/play them out of role to the point that they leave.

Honest question, but would any of you use Burmi over Jokinen, Little or Antropov?

Looking at his career offensive numbers there is some potential there but I don't see any big problem with asking the kid to play 3rd line minutes for a few seasons. If he doesn't produce or show much of an effort to justify a bump in minutes then I'm not sure if that's on the coach or perhaps is a case of a young player feeling entitled?

As far as Bogo goes, he had problems with the organization back in Atlanta as well, so again not sure if you can blame the coach for this, or if its problems with the players, the city or what.

That's such an easy answer ...

Yes I'd play burmi over all but little cause that top line works well. Jokinens a fucking joke of a player and so is antropov now. In fact, both were just plain awful last year.

Also josh. He did play a whole bunch of 3rd and 4th line minutes. In fact that's about all he's been given the chance to play so far in his career. Minus the tiniest of stints with kane.

But that is my point, you aren't going to give him those minutes until he shows he's deserving of more. What has he done to deserve more minutes outside of look good defensively? Jokinen isn't what he was but prior to signing with the Jets was coming off a 60 point season right, and Antropov again has lost a step but is a bigger C with more experience who can be trusted to play 2-way. Not saying Burmi is a bad player but you need to put in the work first.

We just disagree then. He has put in the work imo and when he sees guys like jokinen and antropov getting the nod day in and day out it gets frustrating. Especially when they are just playing god awful hockey.

Go take a look at some of burmis advanced stats. They are some of the best on the jets. Iirc too most plsyers he played with were more effective with him than without.

Its also quite difficult for him to show his offensive gMe and to let it shin e when coach is trying to shove a boring dump and chase style of hockey down his throat. I mean at least give him some skill to do it with besides guys like tangradi lol. For fucks sake noel was giving miettenin more offensive opportunities than burmi and he was even worse than joker or antro!

Sorry for typos, on my phone.

Those guys get the nod because they've put in the work, and produced for the better part of a decade, coming into the NHL young is a good experience, but you need to keep going from there and not feel like if you are there you're entitled to more. Jokinen had a down year he's still the better player, Antropov and Burmi and probably close with Nik having lost a step, but that still leaves Little in the way. Again until you can show you are consistently a better player than those ahead of you on a depth chart you need to plug again and get better.
