Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
Citing the team's record with McLaren and Orr in the lineup doesn't prove much. Neither player played enough to make a considerable difference one way or the other. I do agree with Steve though, the Leafs are better off giving one of those spots to a more versatile forward, if for no other reason than to ensure the Leafs don't have to play one of Orr or McLaren in the top 9 if someone gets hurt mid game.anton wroteCOLONi know you're going through this cute "making up shit" phase but the team was 19-12-4 when both were in the lineup.
Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
its hard to classify them playing together was "horrible" when the team played their best hockey of the season with both of them on the ice.

Maybe a better word is "scary" rather than "horrible"

Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
I don't think they were horrible, in fact I think they played a very important role for the team. I just don't think the Leafs need both of them, and would prefer the fourth line LW role be given to a more versatile forward ala Jerry D'Amigo.anton wroteCOLONits hard to classify them playing together was "horrible" when the team played their best hockey of the season with both of them on the ice.

Ya, either of those 2!
I own both - however I think d'amigo is better.

After 12 NHL seasons, Ukrainian UFA Ruslan Fedotenko, 34, will continue his pro career in the KHL with his lockout team. Fedotenko scored 22 points in 33 games for Donbass Donetsk in 2012-13

More than he made annually on last five NHL deals. RT @walsha: Ruslan Fedotenko has signed a 3 year, $9 million deal with KHL's HC Donetsk.

Dreger just stated on sports center that Vinny has informed the Flyers that they are the team he has selected.

4.5 per isn't too shabby. Probably about right actually. I wouldn't have wanted that 5 year term with him though, risky considering the three years in a row with injuries. I bet you are stoked though Josh, makes him a way more valuable piece in bbkl.
