clutter complaining about a less than clean his is the same as Keleta, Ott and so many other guys who's game doesn't have any respect. Playing like that opens yourself up to anyone treating you like that - or as the saying goes - live by the sword, die by the sword. Not saying Hall threw a clean hit, I have not see it, just saying it's hypocritical to throw dirty hits and than bitch when hit by a dirty hit.

I do not think it is fair to lump clutterbuck in with those guys. He plays on a division rival and I have respect for him. You also never hear players bashing clutt but we know that Kaleta and Ott are hated around the league. Clutt is very physical yes but to say he does not have respect is so far from the truth.

Kyle... lol how can you defend this hit? it doesn't make hong soft to recognize a dirty hit lol. Its crazy that Oilers fans think this was a clean hit. I think it is because they do not think Hall intended to knee clutter but boarding's and kneeing's are very hard to argue regardless of intent.

He was OKAY. Looked very nervous out there and his passes were off. Into skates, way too far in front of guys. Calmed down a little by the end of the game but still looked nervous and tentative.

It was a bad hit but i think it was just one of those hits where you commit and its basically too late and natural reaction is to stick your hip/leg out to make contact.

Meh, Clutterbuck never saw anything coming.

Superstars always get the benefit of the doubt. It's lame. This was knee on knee and the way he was going in only a retarded monkey would hit that way.

Clutterbuck isnt in the same league as Ott, Kelate and company IMO.

he plays the game hard who finishes his hits, he isn't out to kill someone.

Guys seem to have respect for him on the ice.

Not at all a typical knee hit, no last minute hang it out there, drove through the body ; really did lead with his hips although I do not believe it was first point of contact - very honest post game interview.

I'd be shocked if that was more than a single game. Hansen's elbow/forearm
to Hossa shows more intent and irregular
Hockey play. ( look at his hands, stick in wrong one! - plus Marian was terrorizing them that night).

Biggest problem I have will hall's hit is that cal never really had control of the puck, although it did hit off of his skate, with some intent by him, generally making him a fair target, but not the way hall was coming in/crossing his path.

I do think cal is in that same class of player as the other scum (he might be less of a d-bag, but still a douche), and believe hall addressed a question related to that and said he doesn't notice who it is - and not that he wouldn't run at cal if the chance was there.
