Nick wroteCOLONThe hit was fine.

It was less than a third of a second (8 frames, Rome on Horton was 32, other recent examples of late hits in the same 28+ realm)

No jump,
No final stride
No elbow
Head not targeted.

Watching his pass, turned last millisecond. He was totally out.
I watched the game, i thought the hit was clean, the russian kid just didn't see it coming, head down and turned into it

I tihnk the question is was he in a vulnerable position? If he hadn't turned it probably would have been an easy boarding/checking from behind call.

I saw it closer to a 30-40 degree angle....if he hit him hard enough that would have been face hitting boards...

Brian Burke hired as a pro scout in Anaheim.

That was a quiet shuffle off.

How do the Canadiens have 23 points? Have they been dominating everyone but Toronto, LOL.

that game was a reminder of what happens when a good team takes a bad team for granted. They looked past the leafs, assumed it was an easy win and look what happened. If anything it proves any team can win on any given night :D

Once? Sure, but the Leafs destroyed the Canadiens twice this season, both times on the road.

it was a troll. I think the habs are overachieving in a big way right now. It is amazing what an elite goaltending can do.
