They are both very good, but it's insane to call it raped for LAK. Buff consistently score more than DD and shoots more, and most of the time more PIM. DD truly has one thing going for him which is SHTOI. Hits are pretty well comparable and PIM is also no contest. Take whichever category you prefer but it's still the way I look at it.

Doughty by all accounts is having a terrible season...yet he is better than Buff who is having a pretty good season.

This trade will look like a joke in a year or two. Esp since Doughty has a Norris season or two potentially in him.
