sad to see brassard go, however hes taking up a centre spot inefficiently while taking no faceoffs. he will be wing eligible with minimal faceoffs and i am ecstatic to have backlund back since trading him away earlier in the off-season. he is a completely different player this year and hes the centre i wanted.

bright future with rattie... i was willing to give a late 2014 1st pick gladly over for this electrifying prospect. brennan was something chuck asked for closing in on our deal and that was hard. however gerbe is also an exciting young nhler so i think the values there.

once again great talks!!

I have some belief that both Brassard & Backlund are turning their games around in the right way. Other pieces much less interesting to me, more name/perceived value than on their actual play.

I like Brennan a whole lot personally, put up great numbers in the AHL.

I had to convince myself that Rattie was going to be better than Brennan will be down the stretch. It was hard, but I also like Gerbe even though he's playing like shit.
