Scott is right, and we don't move picks more than 2yrs ahead for a reason:
otherwise some GMs would leave no picks for their franchise up to 2099, and once they are replaced the new GM would be left with no draft picks.

2017 waiver picks become available only after the 2015 waiver draft, so this deal needs to get rid of that pick. I'm sure CAR can find a way to add that pick for free to another deal (once allowed) anyway...

but should Kim leave bbkl before the 2015 waiver draft LA wouldn't get that pick.
