Why is grabner worth this?

I owned him before. I don't see it.

We are used to seeing no more than 40 gp from this former monster power winger. Dude posts up 4+ hits per game while scoring 2+ pts on a regular basis. Goes thru cold spells like anyone else as well mid way but anyone who's owned grabner for extended period of time knows his type of production any given week is attractive as fuck. I merely just held on to him until someone saw this eye to eye with me. Boyes on the contrary is older and doesn't do much of anything when it comes to periphs so when not scoring hes trash. I let chuck know this in mild mannered form and professionally discussed proper adds to be had on top of Boyes because they are that greater apart in terms of value

Yeah the way I saw it, Boyes and Grabner produce similar offense (minus the PP time which equals STPTS that Boyes gets). Otherwise Grabner doubles Boyes' hits, actually pks, is 5 years younger and for a similar cap hit. Maybe I overpaid a little but I only lost out on 1 cat (STPTS) and significantly upgraded my hits and SHTOI which should hopefully lock up those cats for me going forward. Not to mention I was running with 4 Panthers after acquiring Kulikov so I really needed to move one and there wasn't a ton of interest in Boyes tbh.

Were both happy and deal was fair; don't see anyone really winning this deal.

I know it's only been a couple weeks, but often checking thru previous deals, witnessing a favourable result thru what i initially thought would be a bad deal for me works out to give me some relief!

For me it wasn't about stats so much as trade value. Found Boyes very hard to move so I got a comparable guy who's a lot younger and better trade value. #thinkingahead
