Re: Trade: DET-LA
Sorry to Paul, Josh and Mik...Steve had THE guy to offer me. A 50-60 point winger that can hit and it doesn't hurt that he plays with Sid. Lewis is at a trade high spot right now and Palmieri has bounced around in the Ducks lineup. I'm getting a sure-fire first line winger.
Re: Trade: DET-LA
a sure-fire first line winger? maybe for the next two months while you're battling for the 28th spot..Shoalzie wroteCOLONI'm getting a sure-fire first line winger.
if Kunitz was on any other team with decent NHL wingers he would have probably been in the press box by now. The guy looks terrible this year and is 35+

Is he a product of his linemates, yes...but he's been Sid's guy for a while. I don't think that's a bad thing. His numbers are a product of his situation but there's a lot of players whose numbers are a byproduct of their linemates or playing situation.

Re: Trade: DET-LA
we're not arguing kunitz isn't a good player - he's great... but for where your team is at.... she no make-a any sense to-a me.
Re: Trade: DET-LA
true, but I mean, at some point I think the retards in Pittsburgh will have to come to realize he has become a joke as a top 6 winger.Shoalzie wroteCOLON Is he a product of his linemates, yes...but he's been Sid's guy for a while. Shoalize doesn't have his 1st anyway so this just works to screw over shep.

I think Shep is going to end up with a nice pick no matter what.

Re: Trade: DET-LA
Look at the other way...if I traded Kunitz for Lewis and Palmieri...how would that help my team get better? Depth-wise, it would help some but I'm not getting the best player in the deal.
