No fucking reason at all to give that much value on B.Schenn right now... this gets dumb when top teams sell because they don't think they can win it all, now 1 guy is clearly separate from the pack.
Bad move for Shep, worse move for the league.
It's getting pretty stupid, I don't know what Scott tells people because we have never made a deal of any significance, but something is severely wrong when the same thing happens over and over, and the response from the second party is always the same. I.E. "I didn't have a chance to win anyways, and if it weren't Scott people wouldn't be complaining"...
1. You don't have a chance to win because the collective stupidity of this league has resulted in a mass amount of lopsided trades, such as this one.
2. People continually complain about Scott's deals because they are typically one sided, despite this trend each manager seems to think they are the exception to the rule, and can win a trade with Scott, or buy into his win tomorrow propaganda, which more often than not is non existent.
3. If you can't win now, guess what.. Trading top assets to the richest team is going to make your life just as difficult tomorrow.
That said, I give Scott all the credit in the world for being able to manipulate so many people, it is a talent. The rest of you (excluding a handful of people) don't even deserve to be handling a team in this league. It's amazing to me how large of a gap there is between the best teams and the rest, and I'm not referring to their asset pool...
