NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
Re: NHL Transactions - Injuries and More Injuries
"Don't give a shit" sure seems to be tossed out with any north-american player who is regarded as skilled but isn't putting up big #, and opposite for the euro's who aren't playing lots of D... sometimes it's just their role on their current team. Not saying wheeler or Kovy or whoever is a 110% work ethic guy like Kesler, Kelly, Richards, Bergeron, etc.. but they are also a very distant cry (further) from guys like Kessel, Bertuzzi, Kovalev, etc.
Everyone on Boston aside from their Marchand-Bergeron PK pairing is having a slow offensive season, but they are (or were?) playing incredible team defence. Watching them play I still see Horton, Krecji, Wheeler & Seguin making lots of nice moves and plays -> clearly restricted more then is being accounted for. Boston is a tough building to earn stats in, but their basically all positive or better on the give-away to take-away difference. 5v5 HKW are all insane +, and both get roughly 1 hit per game... Point of what I'm saying? They definitely are not invisible out there, and they sure as hell aren't hurting their team.

Good points Nick. I guess i see it more like the wheels seem to spin a lot but they don't always go forward. It seems to happen a bit too much for more than a fair share of certain Bruins players. I must say I am quite surprised by Horton. Id say he deserves a presser for a game or two but it is known that does nothing sooo..Other guys who come and go to an extent: Wheeler, Ryder, Recchi(tries every night but lately not all there)Lucic, Krejci...Those are key guys. I think the Kelly trade is very nice and will go along way. He is as true of a hockey guy as one could get. Plays hard every night, win or lose. An awesome locker room guy. Addition without subtraction.facey wroteCOLON"Don't give a shit" sure seems to be tossed out with any north-american player who is regarded as skilled but isn't putting up big #, and opposite for the euro's who aren't playing lots of D... sometimes it's just their role on their current team. I think consistency is what separates the super-stars from other top 6 forwards. Not like Ovy suddenly lost any of his elite skill set, it's just not coming together as it typically does, or as often.

no not awesome. Injuries are rearing their ugly fucking head at the worst time of the year.... as if I didn't already deal with them this season.
