Overall I'm very pleased with my draft. Anyone I picked too early I was only off by a round while I struck gold with most of my later picks. Two misses: Orekhov was a shot in the dark but was a bit surprised Gauthier didn't get taken.

Kaliyev at 12 is just...yuck. And who even knows if he really is a 2001 birthday. I'd pass alone just for the constant dumb empty expression on his face.

Great haul overall, I think.
Puistola is the only one of my 8 picks in the top two rounds to slip to the 3rd, somehow. Maybe if Rees went earlier the Canes would have picked up Puistola at #44.

Would have drafted Soderblom with the last pick if I realized he was still available, because he has more significant upside than Moser. Other than the Swiss, who should be 3rd pairing material, I think the others all have nice upside, although the three Czechs are also big question marks.
Like every other year I had a high pick falling a lot, this time it was Guskov, hopefully he will prove NHL teams wrong like my other fallers from that range in past years.

Parssinen lasting till #210 was gross, I think NHL Preds got lucky there.

I've made a list of the players that teams need to add on Fantrax...I'll make sure you're aware of who is missing and that you make sure they're on your roster in time for the start of the season.

Also, if you draft someone in the waiver draft and they're in the database on Fantrax...add them right away if you have a free moment.
