Well, hopefully that 1st won't be in the lottery (again). Jenner's periphs are really solid...curious to see if his offense rebounds. I wanted to get another sure thing at center since I had the assets to spend. The well is drying up though.

Henrique was ranked 23rd while playing basically 2nd line minutes. I'd say he's a solid bet to repeat his performance. There is no doubt that that he is a far superior player to Wennberg. You cant be serious thinking Scott overpaid more for Henrique than Wennberg. That's such a ridiculous statement.

I had to step up and add a couple of significant pieces at center or I'll continue getting my teeth kicked in as part of this murder's row of a division. While I'm still in this league I want to compete. It's not fun to lose.

Wennberg played only 66 games last year and had a dip in production...I'm betting on him being closer to his '16-17 form where he was a top 25 center. Between this move and the Henrique move...I initially have more confidence in Henrique. Wennberg is a bit of a wild card but he's 23 and I've got him insulated in the lineup with other good centers.

I dunno how many fow wennberg will get as that's definitely not his strong point, but he played the first half of last season injured and was still on pace for more than 40 points. I do suspect he will get 50-70 points quite often moving forward, and shtoi and blocks.

I do like Jenner though. He's a beast on the wing, and if he puts up 40 points again a guy who helps you win in our league at his cap. 200+ shots, 200+ hits, lots of blocks, some shtoi and fow. I've been after him for a long time in our league. Happy to get him.

I like both wennberg and jenner.

I think Connor is that much better than Jenner and if you compare Henrique/Wennberg from 2 seasons ago it's a whole lot closer

Connor is still getting better and Jenner hasn't lived up to how he broke into the league. I think henrique and Wennberg are close and I'd rather Connor to Jenner and the 2020 picks. Who knows how 2020 will go and if DET still isnt a playoff team then ya he overpaid more for Wennberg easy.

Connor is a very talented player but he's likely going to be offense-first for the balance of his career. I wouldn't trade him in real hockey league but in fantasy, he's only good for so many categories. Jenner is probably the better all-around player.

Sometimes overpaying is okay when you are trying to compete if you believe it gives you a chance to compete.

Down the middle. Which is a strong center group.

and a new goalie, and solid periph team. He could grab a playoff spot away from Florida Boston or Tampa. I'm starting to feel the drain of years of not competing, so I can understand wanting to go for it. All it takes is a couple good series and hot goalie once u make the playoffs.
