Re: SJS-STL
Confirmed. Like Tyutin in COL for decent minutes, that's where he has value. I can't stand Petry and I cut 3.5mil in cap so I can't complain here.

Re: SJS-STL
This one isn't anywhere near as bad as the Tatar one.
Re: SJS-STL
I prefer the Tatar one, he got two decent players and a pick where he I think there is risk Tyutin could be out of the NHL if he struggles but the Avs have a terrible blue line so should be good for at leaast this year.Chuck Norris wroteCOLONThis one isn't anywhere near as bad as the Tatar one.

All about that cap. After this he has about 4.5m to sign Kucherov.Bruyns wroteCOLONI prefer the Tatar one, he got two decent players and a pick where he I think there is risk Tyutin could be out of the NHL if he struggles but the Avs have a terrible blue line so should be good for at leaast this year.Chuck Norris wroteCOLONThis one isn't anywhere near as bad as the Tatar one.

Re: SJS-STL
I must be in the minority cause I don't mind Tyutin, Jackets always had him miscast him in his role there. I think he'll do better in Colorado.Bruyns wroteCOLONI prefer the Tatar one, he got two decent players and a pick where he I think there is risk Tyutin could be out of the NHL if he struggles but the Avs have a terrible blue line so should be good for at leaast this year.Chuck Norris wroteCOLONThis one isn't anywhere near as bad as the Tatar one.
Re: SJS-STL
Didn't even realize he needed to cut cap, Tatar and Petry deals make more sense now. 4.5 won't be enough for Kuch, Killorn messed up his cap situation.foofnik wroteCOLONAll about that cap. I don't plan on having Greening chewing up $2.65mil of my cap come the start of the season, so I should have ~$7.3mil for Kucherovfoofnik wroteCOLONAll about that cap. Re: SJS-STL
I was eye-balling Petry...could've afforded that price and then some.
Re: SJS-STL
I know I wouldn't pick nowadays Tyutin over any of 24yrs olds Larsson or Nordstrom..Chuck Norris wroteCOLONI must be in the minority cause I don't mind TyutinBruyns wroteCOLONI prefer the Tatar one, he got two decent players and a pick where he I think there is risk Tyutin could be out of the NHL if he struggles but the Avs have a terrible blue line so should be good for at leaast this year.Chuck Norris wroteCOLONThis one isn't anywhere near as bad as the Tatar one.
Re: SJS-STL
Was looking to see what Petry went for last time he was traded.
Rough one for Koomzzz, I think most of us have pretty bad deals at the start of our tenure, I know I did.

Re: SJS-STL
To be fair, petry was a 15 point dman at this point. He broke out in his 30s.

Re: SJS-STL
IIRC this was a needed cap dump and Petry was nothing special at the time
Re: SJS-STL
The season he was traded he had 16 in 51GP playing 21min+ a game with good periphs. The season after the trade was even better, but ya his age 30 season was his first 40+ pt. Pretty crazy he has averaged 20+ min a season every year even as a rookie.Matthew wroteCOLONTo be fair, petry was a 15 point dman at this point. He broke out in his 30s.
It was more about Tyutin only played one more season in the NHL that made this bad in retrospect.
Re: SJS-STL
ya this looks real bad. I needed to dump someone and I thought Petry was the best idea. Oh well
