That's simply not true. I've been in and am in other fantasy leagues with proper scoring and the majority of matchup are very interesting. pBFL uses nearly identical categories, same # of teams and general format, and WLT is awesome. Week 1 I believe shiv beat me by 1 assist. Week 9 I beat shook by 5 saves & .14 sv%. Have tied twice. It's so much better having those close weeks worth something, rather then having the blowouts impact the entire season standings.


Mik - the first point, you're talking non sense. Our teams don't actually compete, but at least we should compare the stats our players do, not the current comparison of winning stats versus one team, compared to categories won by another team all together - wtf is that measuring my fairly? It's insanity!!! this defence of the status quo scoring without actually looking at how much interest exists in the scoring if done properly.

notice the P1 P2 P3 and C1 C2 C3 beside your teams....

and? they tell us the position inside the division, but P2 versus C3 tells nothing about their respective position inside the conference.
So the fact after week 16 I was placed above SJ appears to be wimply wrong.

Which (on top of being retarded) has nothing to do with how the conference standings should be?
At least P2, P3, C2, C3 should be placed accordingly with how many pts they have.
In fact, if the regular season ended after the 16th week and my team faced SJ in the conference final, SJ should be the team with the higher seed and the tie breaker on its side as a result.

I was and I am. Those are supposed to be standings not a playoff tree.. so the team above is ranked higher.

Chicago and St. Louis have more points than Calgary....but Calgary is ahead of them because they are 3rd in the weak pacific division...

Technically they are in 8th

And, you are ahead of SJ now so it doesn't really matter....lol
