i see buffalo pick and i think, hmm solid trade scott, then i realize he just landed crosby for RNH and upgraded his goalies.

he could be better than NJ next year tbh.

Bollig - Bordeleau - Panik

Gudas - Gudbranson
Benn - Demers
Greene - Meszaros

Howard - Gustavsson - Gibson

meh, the trade is supposed to provide Scott a slight upgrade on his 2nd rounder 2015.

If BUF's ends up being a later pick than NJ's and Scott reminds me about this, I'll probably have another 2nd available slightly ahead of NJ spot (currently have 3 others) and we'll be able to swap that one with BUF's one.

Don't forget which division Matt is in...Kyle, Mike, Chuck and Nick are in that division. No more than 5 teams can get in out of a division. Matt is definitely improved but Nick didn't take a step back with the deal...still have Giroux and Stamkos down the middle in addition to Kadri and RNH. I think Matt is picking in the teens at worst...but so is probably Tyler. The East is very deep.

I think I can finish anywhere from 4-9 in the East. Injuries can change things and because of stats like GWG, +-, PIMs and goalie cats, luck always plays a big part in weekly matchups.

Stamkos belongs to Luke

i dont know, i 100% think buffalo ends up finishing a better team than NJ, but only time will tell

I'm all for optimism buddy but there's no way in your present state you end up ahead of Mike, Nick, Cam and myself. Not to mention you drop another rank because of the other division leader. If you make playoffs you're looking at 5th-8th at best. But keep going you're closing the gap on the east powerhouses.

I've changed so much this summer - 12 of my 20 active have changed this offseason.

Just G, Weber, Koviu, Coyle, Foligno, Silfver, Gardiner & Sbisa remain from that loss.
