Arian The Insider wroteCOLONDepending on standings and the lottery. Are you new to hockey?

the lottery is for the first 14 picks only............????
on the flip side, if Dal misses games played (by a wide margain) that pick can be punished up to 30 spots in the entry draft and will become the 61st pick.

trading picks of teams who may miss games played is risky business, but can pay off if they win the lottery and their 2nd climbs into the mid-to-lower 1st range

It must be hard being a new guy here when the forum has become 90% sarcasm.

if a team misses the GP totals that pick will be penalized, regardless of whether or not said team still owns said pick.

this is pretty much what Arian and i have been saying. No trolling here.

It's how that Dal 2nd round pick could either drop or go up.

very risky, but could be worth the reward if enough teams miss games played and it jumps up into the mid-to-late 1st.

Youre making it a lot more confusing though with that last sentence ;). All anyone needs to know is what I said above.

not complicated, straight forward and honest.

there's always risk/reward trading for a lower teams picks as they can move up and down.

Naw. All u had to say was what I said. U made it more confusing. Sorry Steve! Gameover!

Not to mention there is zero...absolutely zero chance the dallas 2nd moves into mid to late first. Has it ever even happened in our league?

YA, IT's happened twice where an early 2nd has jumped into the 20's in the first round.

Doesn't DET's pick this year become 30th because Honger's first is given up?
