For a team like Scott's to get out of the basement, you don't need a "small" win even if it is a no-brainer.

You need to shoot the moon. Pocket the 8-ball off the break. Hit a royal flush. Running out of metaphors.

That metaphor was Mcdavid. Fuck BBKL value. You need escape velocity to leave the BBKL basement. What he got back was not that. But he had an ace in the hole that could have been that (Last card game metaphor).

Klefbom is high end, CAR 1st this year should be a great player - all Scott needs is for 1 piece to over-achieve, and to get out of the bbkl-bottom a call like that is exactly what's needed IMO.
