Re: TOR/MTL
This is a pretty clear win for Mike. Stewart is head and shoulders above anything Chuck received.
Aside from that, Chuck has a very good team this year with the capacity to go deep in the playoffs. But his first 2 match-ups will have to be versus TBL and TOR according to the new division playoff structure. To strengthen a team you will have to beat is just not smart business unless you get something that will help you beat that team more easily, which is definitely not the case here. Chuck just made it harder for himself to build a team that can emerge from that division's bracket in the conference finals.

Re: TOR/MTL
what's the difference? i like mine better, it's simple as shit and it's the same thing ive used since day 1. i really don't see what the big deal is here. im getting warnings for removal for not tracking my roster when i have an up-to-date spreadsheet sitting in my team forum at all times....but because it's not on google docs i suppose that means it's not taken care of.
click chicago blackhawks and click roster/cap spreadsheet. it's not hard.

Re: TOR/MTL
you're requiring the admin's do extra work to have a record of your spreadsheet. we have to go find your spreadsheet, assume and trust you've done all cap calculations accurately. You want to be treated differently than the other 29 GMs.
be spiteful, do the least possible, be a troll, and too cool in all regards. But making work for some of the members who do a lot of work to keep the league going, including big steps like the google-docs to make the league easier for all, is just shitty. You're trying to come off like a victim, it might work with your mom but... w/e

Re: TOR/MTL
i've literally had the same spreadsheet in the same spot since May 2010. i am doing nothing different than i have been for the last almost 4 years.
mike creates the google doc and suddenly im bordering on removal. it's a great system and i know a lot of people use it and love it. i prefer my spreadsheet - the same one i've been using without any issues or league warnings since 2010.

I honestly know how you feel man. I have a spreadsheet on my desktop that literally has everything on it. And I was very used to making my submissions on the forum.anton wroteCOLONi've literally had the same spreadsheet in the same spot since May 2010. i am doing nothing different than i have been for the last almost 4 years.

This is one of those situations where once you set up the Google Doc, it will help the league. Doesn't take long to do it the first time, and after the first time it's just a once a week thing.
If guys like Mike can put in the time to track google docs, Shoalzie can track all picks ever traded lol, we can do our little part to make their lives a little easier. I know I definitely don't put in remotely as much time into this league as some of the admin/CC guys.
That's all I'll say on this matter. You're a model GM in my opinion. But adopting things that are a little annoying at first can help a lot in the long run.
