In all honesty I didnt like any of the offers I got on Stewart. The only one I did like was one Nick suggested but I would have been either taking on cap or staying lateral which defeats the purpose of my Stewart thread.

Im sure youll all agree Stewart should have gotten this deal done without the adds. That being said I wasnt going to let D'Ago (I have 0 faith in him) and a pair of 4th rounders prevent a deal I desperately NEEDED to do. Not only did I make space for Carter to return but also for Clowe when he's back (I was concerned about having to cut cap again to do this in a secondary deal).

I've been after Lovejoy for some time and you can't shake a stick at Klink's output although I dont expect his offense to continue (he provides much more than that).

So to sum up I lose value on the deal but I get massive cap savings allowing me to recall my top C in Carter, get a guy I've been after for a while and giving me the depth on D I needed. Lost value but filled 3 needs. Ill deal.
