like it for bruyns. Don't think schenn has peaked yet. seems pretty fair though.

bennett plays in my rink's men's league during the summer. he's a good kid. i think he's just as much offensive upside as schenn but without the hits. tinordi makes up for that.

I agree. Power forwards take longer. Bobby Ryan and Van Riemsdyk are showing that.

Thanks Chuck, I really like the 2 guys I gave up and think Anton got solid value especially for the team of youngsters he is building.

I've made the trades needed to build myself a decent little 1st line of Hall - Eller - Schenn, lost my 3 "untouchables" I valued the most in Gudas, Lucic and Bennett, but I think I've improved since taking over.

If you disagree you haven't seen JVR play very often in a Leafs uniform.

which is true, but weird to think he went from primarily a finesse player to a power forward by wearing the Leafs jersey

He was considered a power forward in the making when he was drafted by the Flyers...

i can't say I've ever viewed JvR as a finesse player. he's always seemed big and awkward to me.

never played like one as a Flyer, unless being a big winger automatically means being powerful
