Mik wins IMO, but thought Paul was getting beat up pretty bad in this thread when the only way the deal is a rape is if Pauls pick in 2015 turns into a star years down the road. It's not impossible that Paul gets lucky and the first round talent he picks up in 14 ends up being a better player than the first round talen in 15.

its not about how the picks will turn out as players so much as it is what those very rare and highly sought after picks can be turned into (value wise) come draft day.

I would say the process of weeding out the weak and diseased has been quite efficient in this league and we are finally at a good place. I'm enjoying Boychuk, Rask, Johnson, Iginla, Soderberg, Smith and soon enough Bartkowski. The only one you have I am jealous of is Krug. Marchand has been fucking terrible...Trade him while you can unless you love having Chris "stone hands" Kelly as your center.

Lucic-Krejci_Iginla is the top line. He is definitely a top PK'er. He needs to be playing with Bergeron mbut based on Reilly Smith's play, there is no way Clode can break him up from that. Personally Id like to see Eriksson on a line with Marchand and Soderberg. That would be an amazing defensive line.

i think mik wins becoz i value vanek > gabroik.. and not that i would advise paul to go ahead of this deal..

but for bottom dwellers, every team has their strategies in building their teams, as much as i enjoy rebuilding gradually, i equally respect teams that step up and show people they ain't bottom dwellers and show the spirit of trying to win no matter what. Like everyone said, the first thing they think of paul is lottery pick. What would Paul think? If I am Paul I would also want to show the world that you are all wrong and just go fuck with your own teams.
