Re: PIT/OTT
ill take the penner side. maybe he'll find his fat groove again in anaheim. kelly's ceiling is pretty low.

Re: PIT/OTT
I like Kelly more, he is a sure thing to produce in the peripheral based categories, and has a ceiling of 30-35 points. Dustin Penner obviously has a much higher ceiling, but his floor is the same point totals with little to no periphs, and unfortunately Penner is more likely to hit his floor. I also don't think people realize how many good wingers Penner is going to have to bypass to get consistent top 6 minutes with the Ducks (Perry, Palmieri, Selanne [presumably], Etem, Silfverberg and even Cogliano who is coming off a solid year).
Re: PIT/OTT
If Kelly stays in Boston, I think you see him moved to wing this year. If he gets moved (and i hope he does), I think you will see a bump back to his normal production in the short term. I can honestly say he was probably the worst Bruin, on average, all of last season.

Re: PIT/OTT
I hope the Bruins move him there too, but I can't see it. They have already lost Peverley, and sacrificing Kelly on the dot in addition to him would make the Bruins far less effective as they would start with the puck less.CAM wroteCOLONIf Kelly stays in Boston, I think you see him moved to wing this year. Re: PIT/OTT
Kelly was awesome in ottawa
Penner was awesome in Ana - first go around
could be bounce back years for both of them - much like the offer i proposed on HF boards.
The bounce back block
B. Rich for T. Plek

Etem and Cogliano both didn't play top 6 last year very often. I agree with your point though.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONI like Kelly more, he is a sure thing to produce in the peripheral based categories, and has a ceiling of 30-35 points. Re: PIT/OTT
I expect Etem to compete for a top 6 spot this season, Cogliano likely stays on the third line.
Re: PIT/OTT
Gonna see Soderberg move to his natural position. Kelly can do the Rw better than Soderberg on lw.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONI hope the Bruins move him there too, but I can't see it. Re: PIT/OTT
I hope you are right, the Bruins are far less threatening with Soderberg on the dot then Kelly. IMO, one of the biggest reasons that the Bruins are so lethal is because lines 1-3 had a center that was elite at taking draws, and Peverley just in case someone got booted from the circle.
