Out of fairness to Nick, I think he's got until just before 1. Kareem's time would've elapsed hours ago but I have to think Nick gets a full 12 hours when he obtains the pick. He said he'll pick this morning so it shouldn't be a big deal.

Yesterday was a very productive day...knocked out half the third round. We should be well into the 4th round going into the weekend. Do I dare to dream...we could actually have this done by the 30th? If not, we'll be darn close. This has been a very smooth draft.

In most cases when guy acquires a pick from another team, they'd pick right away...but why wouldn't that person not get their own 12 hour window? I guess the question is, does the pick have a 12 hour window or does the team that holds the pick have 12 hours?

IMO it should be the pick itself; NOT the team. If you acquire the pick you shoud know already who you're taking anyway.

This.

You may still acquire the pick without knowing who to select, or to trade it again, but you should know how much time left you have when you make the deal to get it.

Seems fair...just need to make that clear to everyone. Like I said, usually teams that acquire a pick will use it right away. Nick didn't exactly hold up precedings anyway but we can enforce that going forward. 3rd round is almost done so we'll be into the 8-hour window the rest of the way.

I'm just doing a bit of last minute research, I'll be picking tonight unless I receive an offer I like, just giving guys a heads up not to wait around for a little bit.
