PM me, and we can start there.
Re: TBL: a young block
Scheifele for RoR
Re: TBL: a young block
With these offers it's like RoR is a prospect rather than a proven 22 year old.

Re: TBL: a young block
Ye - you trade RoR for dats
W/O a contract
Before RoR came on strong this year
Than You Offer me RoR + Beulieu + klefbom for dats
I say a clean a simple nope.
You prompt for a counter, & I say that we are far apart.
ending with where i stand today on the offer.

You reply with a personal attack (typical). Keep making the BBKL a better place shiv

Re: TBL: a young block
You're in politics. I have a direct quote from you calling your player an "insane player downgrade" from mine 3 months ago. Then suddenly the same player ends up on your team and your tune changes. Calling you an tool at that point is not a personal attack but honestly pointing out what you are.
And all of BBKL knows what it is like to ask Nick to evaluate one of his own players.

Re: TBL: a young block
I personally like ROR more than Dats
i once told chuck to trade ROR for him to be honest.

Re: TBL: a young block
Player evaluations are not static. How many times you need me to say I was wrong on RoR ?
I previously thought he was a good 2 or a great 2-way #3 type (draper, sutter, etc) - he's much more of a 1b with shutdown stuff, on path to be similar to Bergeron, plek, staal etc.
Not the first time I was wrong on a player evaluation - I never thought MDZ would be a #2 type and he is... Doesn't mean I should be expected to always have that view of him. Hell ill put my hand up admitting I thought Luke Schenn would be a #1, not a medium #4. No way would I trade today for him what I thought he was 3 years ago.
If you don't think calling someone a tool is a personal attack...than maybe you have a role with the orange party in politics, lots of similarities - you're great, going to win, and taking the high-road choosing to not insult your opponents.
