Stupid cbs wouldn't let me put Baertschi and Horak in...

Also got a BUNCH of stupid injuries this season... :(
PM me the changes you want and I'll put them in retroactively (for this week).

And it was not until the final Saturday that the Dallas Stars made gp requirements.

As long as the flames stay out of the bottom 4 picks and don't win the lottery I'm happy.
Lots of teams about to make some major additions to their squads at this draft.

Buffalo and myself are probably looking at around 620 or so and Phoenix probably doesn't quite crack 600. The trade freeze gets lifted soon and the lottery happens on Monday...I hope our order gets finalized as soon as possible.

The draft order is complete now with Columbus at 29 and Boston at 30...obviously I'll update it again with the lottery results tonight, which can only affect the first 14 picks.

I have all the picks on the draft board now with who presently owns which spot...

http://bbkl.ca/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=9322

For clarification, if you want to know which pick is what...for example, if a pick is shown as "Dallas (from TOR via CAR)". Dallas owns the pick, which was last acquired from Toronto and its Carolina's original pick. I have a hyperlink in blue to the trade where the pick was last acquired. I didn't trace all the trades back to their original owner...I'm just showing the last trade involving that pick. If it was traded directly from the original team it'll just show "via TEAM".

I think I have the "from" and "via" terminology backwards. I think how they do it is the source of the pick is the "from" and "via" is for how the pick was acquired beyond that original team. I might flip-flop all that so it makes more sense. They use "via" when a pick has been traded more beyond a second team and I'll see that they use that to trace where the pick has gone. In the NHL, they don't trade picks nearly as much as we do. It would be ugly to follow where every pick has gone...that's why I'm sticking with the most recent trade. The information I have is right, I just want to re-format it.

Make him add a roster player for #1, that choice of top 3 is worth a lot. #6+#8 is nice for #3, but for #1 it's gotta have a live body with it.

rinse and repeat twice more (#6 -> #20+good body, #8->#22+good body, #20 + small for a good body, # 22 + small for a good body. All stemming from #1; you've successfully pulled a Shiv with an on-the-fly rebuild.

Effectively turning #1 into 5 good players, reducing risk but not taking on players with a potential decrease in value. Getting Shiv's comments on each step might be an measure for success (note: different from trading WITH Shiv) ahahah.

Not saying that's all I'd want but that's very much a start of an ideal return. We'll tonight what the order is so we can get this ball rolling.

here's the kicker - i dont have anyone in particular in mind. i just want in the top 3. the value of the 1st pick, 2nd pick, or 3rd pick are equal to me.

if i have to add simply because the pick is labelled #1 then ill take #3 if available ....n'ahmean.

#1 is worth more than #3. No one is doubting all 3 are good, choice is better though.
