naw, especially after meeting so many I can say that most of them are pretty honest people, some are stupid, and that can lead to the confusion. However the bigger cause of that belief is the mis-quoting and lack of sources that are so rampant in media. A politicians says they'll work to do X, and the next year they're accused of lying or failing to achieve X, as promised.
