Obviously a joke in terms of numbers vs minority - so many focus on what serves 'me', best, right now. Limited vision, care to think about why it would be this way, or if it'll even matter to them next week. Prime example is the hilariousness represented by a lack of 2 days patience, in a fantasy league, to wait to announce a trade, before the off-season begins. It would clearly be 'no-big-deal' if trades were posted, but we can all wait something like 48 hours and BBKL playoffs to be over before the flood of new trades begin. BCool & Kaboom have earned this much.

My joke was sarcastic, perhaps tone was needed, poking fun at both the perceived importance of posting a trade today, the supposed injustice the trade freeze represents, and a jab regarding the huge trading window what is of no relevance.

probably the 191st time I've said it, but a BC Liberal is very different from a Federal Liberal or any other provincial liberals - we have no other out-of-province party ties, and in truth would be named the BC Coalition party, except that name was taken in 1995 (or something) and cannot be used for an extended period of time (25+ years). Typically would be classified as small 'c' conservatives.

The BC Liberals are a politically wide-spread party, combining the centre & right (although not extreme right). Fiscally conservative and socially Liberal are the defining characteristics. Federal & non-BC-provinical parties regularly show support for our government, because a) in majority and b) unmatched fiscal record w/o oil & gas revenue we have the same credit rating as Alberta, and a better Debt-to-GDP ratio than the rest of Canada - meaning even w/o boom time economics, we're responsible stewards of the BC economy. Numerous Conservative MPs have endorsed me/my party (this would be a big deal in the states, but because Canadian politics are less glamorous and understood - it goes mostly unnoticed) - most notably Hon. Stockwell Day, but also Hon James Moore (both Federal Ministers of the Conservative party - both self described as fiscal conservatives who most believe are socially liberal).


As always, our Government's top priority is jobs, growth and long-term prosperity - the business man's approach to government. Stemming from the belief that our ability to solve other issues and problems, as a government, relies on the strength of our economy.

Not that I take offence when called a Liberal, but some inaccuracies due to different meanings of the same word.

Decision regarding trade freeze was in relation to the trade-deadline and as you know, taking into account several other variables as well.
