Re: Trade: DAL/SJS Round 2
If trocheck was a first rd pick 2 years ago and playing the way he's playing now you guys would be like "oh wow solid return peter, great prospect you added"
whatever though names don't matter in the long run.
I owned trocheck before this and traded him in the last deal, I obviously followed him in that time and know what he's about. He'll be in the NHL in a year or two, future 2-way top 9 forward with upside to be a second line center.

Stemps is a 30 year old .5ppg player who penalty kills and is undervalued in bbkl.gooker wroteCOLONStemps is a top 6 NOW!!!Peter wroteCOLONIf trocheck was a first rd pick 2 years ago and playing the way he's playing now you guys would be like "oh wow solid return peter, great prospect you added"

Rather have a 19 year old C who's projected to be at least that.

Re: Trade: DAL/SJS Round 2
And I'm not even trying to talk Trocheck up right now, well until this post
The guy was 2nd line C for team USA at the WJC when they won gold.
is gritty, works super hard good at both ends of ice.
is averaging 2ppg since being trade to plymouth of the ohl (20gp with them, 41 pts)
and has improved steadily throughout his career, consistent devlopment
Playing in the AHL next year, could be in NHL anytime

Those two statements do not correlate at all. However, I get it. I don't have a man crush on Stempniak or anything either, but I guess I just thought I could've given u a better offer for him ;PPeter wroteCOLON Playing in the AHL next year, could be in NHL anytime

Re: Trade: DAL/SJS Round 2
I think Peter could've gotten a +. But it's not bad at all, Trocheck is a solid prospect and is, imo, a lock as an NHLer, whether it is in a 2nd line or bottom 6 role
