Once again, Nino will never get you a player like Brouwer until he starts touching north of 50 points in the NHL.
Come talk to me when he does that.
Might be waiting a while for you though.

Re: Brouwer
According to insider trading the wings are looking at Nino
no word on whom they'd offer, but bob mckenzie suggested Brenden Smith going the other way.

Why am I not surprised that with you, all that matters is points.Nick wroteCOLONTroy has never broken 40...
Brouwer consistently puts up over 200 hits, 100 shtoi, 100 sog, 50 pims and lets say about 45 BS. Oh, he gets PP time too, averaging about 12 stpts per year the last while

Just like no one in their right might would trade Cammy for J.T. Miller+ but it happens....KapG wroteCOLONok bud, ahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahaa.Nick wroteCOLONShould be worth more, if market is down that low, best just hold.
no one, in their right mind, would trade brouwer for Nino.

Re: Brouwer
and you're assuming that Nino doesn't hit an incredible amount? nor pk nor shoot the puck? Nino is likely going to dwarf Troy in terms of impact, both real life in BBKL, within 2 years. After that it will be funny that it was ever compared.KapG wroteCOLONWhy am I not surprised that with you, all that matters is points.Nick wroteCOLONTroy has never broken 40...

You are the one that referenced points ("touching north of 50") - why personally criticize me when you brought the category up? Pretty typical, once logic has run out to turn to insults...

It was actually cammy + for JT Miller.Sensfanjosh wroteCOLONJust like no one in their right might would trade Cammy for J.T. Miller+ but it happens....KapG wroteCOLONok bud, ahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahaa.Nick wroteCOLONShould be worth more, if market is down that low, best just hold.

Re: Brouwer
I brought up the category of points because IMO Nino is not going to make an impact on the periph categories. As a result, for him to be as valuable to me as a 40 point player who hits every periph category very well, he is going to have to produce at a much higher clip than Brouwer does. He hits a good amount, ill give you that. But so far, indications are that he doesn't hit as much as Brouwer.Nick wroteCOLONand you're assuming that Nino doesn't hit an incredible amount? nor pk nor shoot the puck? There are also no indications that he is going to be seeing lots of PK minutes.
btw, based on my limited trade talks with you, and the team you've put together, you really dont value the perihp cats. How is me saying that an insult to you?

Re: Brouwer
Ye. He's very much a do-it-all winger, PK, EV, PP - has been in WHL, WJC, & AHL - dominant physically, awesome skating, good scoring - Awesome in the AHL @ 20 = good indication it'll transfer up to the NHL in a year or 2.
If I could spare the assets to acquire Nino, he'd be on my roster right now - but simply don't have the right piece to snag him.

Re: Brouwer
FYI, he put up 140 hits in 50 odd NHL games he played, and watching him previously, when given a proper shot once again adding the scoring touch, I have no doubt that Nino will be superior than what he is worth later on in terms of H2H. He isn't a pussy scoring threat... he throws BIG checks... and plays reeeeal dirty.
Anyway.. did I start you and nick's argument? lol
