I admit i give Chuck a hard time because i felt his team was a contender this year and the end of last year until he blew it up and the majority of all his deals are with Shiv where, imo, he loses 99% of every trade while making Shiv look like a genius or hostage holder. Hence the reason I am still sticking to my theory that Chuck is in deed tied up in Shiv's basement and forced to suck his balls at least 10 times a day and if he doesnt do it good he must repay him by giving up his assets for a much less return. That is just my story and i'm sticking to it. no offense to any party involved in my theory!

Yeah this deal looks bad, but IMO I win 99% of my deals with Shiv from a value perspective. Yeah I had a good team and could have been a contender. I'm also realistic enough to realize that while my team could contend, it still wasnt good enough to take on the big guns like Nick's, Steve's or Mike's teams (I can name half a dozen teams that need to figure this out for themselves - and you're one of them Kyle). Why stick with the status quo and push to win when I know my team will fall short in the end.

I'm not blowing it up, but Im making some major tweaks to get my team to top tier level for next year. The fact is my team had nearly hit its overall value limit. I didnt have much left in terms of assets with which to upgrade. After this so called "blow up" as you've dubbed it and my entre team was healthy I'd wager it would be pretty comparable to what I had to start the year, and in the process Ive acquired assets like 4 1sts, Faksa, Finn, Wotherspoon....all nice pieces with which to upgrade.

You don't like my methods or choices thats fine. I have a a long-term plan thats been in motion for some time now. You may not agree with it but I have a feeling you'll be singing a new tune come next year when my stacked team is going to wipe the floor with your team and most of bbkl's to boot.

Lol, you almost did that to my team last year in playoffs, remember? Like i said it is nothing personal. I just felt your team was already stacked and ready for the next level and that was proven by your record. Shiv was bailed out by you on so many trades its not even funny. You do not see a trend with the comments on almost all of your trades with Shiv? Is everyone out of line with sharing nearly the same impressions? There are some very smart hockey people in this league that have had the exact same sentiment as i have. Like i said its your team and you have your own plans, I was just stating my personal opinions and i do appreciate your rebuttal.
