i thought Connolly was underrated?
He is - has nothing to do with the Leafs and our plan going forward. Connolly will find another team and put up similar BBKL numbers.

Like i said the other day, i think burke did a good job here, but it was time for him to move on with the big class of upcoming UFA's

Nonis will actually spend on quality, whereas, burke signs junk.

And Connolly sucks,

but if he isn't claimed i'd assume he'll be bought out? or tossed on re-entry (that's what i'd do to save our 2 buy-outs)

someone will claim him on re-entry

There are no longer any re-entry waivers.

I expect he'll be traded with a couple mil in salary retention.
